A Sporting Day of Driving
October 3, 2026• Big Sky • 10 AM
Join us for the MCDC Fall Frolic, a three-phase event geared toward all drivers for a fun and friendly Sporting Day of Driving. Entries will compete in Turnout, Cross Country, and Cones, with courses designed to welcome horses, ponies and VSEs.
· Turnout: Each turnout is judged individually while halted, including overall impression (equine), harness, and vehicle. Harness may be leather or non-leather, vehicle may be antique or modern. Cleanliness and overall Impression is paramount.
· Cross Country: A steady-pace route with numbered gates and 3–5 performance challenges. A shorter route will be offered for VSEs.
· Cones: A maximum 10-cone course driven in numerical order, judged on a clear round, rein handling, and an even steady pace.
· Entries will be assigned a Turnout time, then proceed directly to Cross Country and Cones.
· Included: Ribbons, prizes, and lunch for all competitors.
$50 Per Entry
